Tiger Woods set to make $3 million for playing in Abu

Tiger Woods' game certainly seems to be on the uptick at the moment. In the past few weeks, Woods posted his best finish of the season -- third-place at the Australian Open -- and followed up the strong showing by clinching the deciding point for the U.S. at the Presidents Cup.


Yep, everything seems to be coming together nicely for Tiger. Aside from his play on the course, he's also back to making record appearance fees once again. As The Associated Press' Doug Ferguson said in a recent story, Woods is on track to make upwards of $3 million for just showing up to play the HSBC Championship in Abu Dhabi.

Well, the Knights, Ogle, Orrantia, Fletcher, and Bell­­­­­­ families better pull up some more chairs to their Thanksgiving dinner tables and stick a few extra turkeys in the ovens this week. In a dramatic double elimination on "The X Factor" this Thanksgiving eve, both Lakoda Rayne and LeRoy Bell went home--and, adding insult to injury, they received the bad news of their eliminations while dressed like circus clowns, after performing a cringeworthy, carnival-themed group number that surely no viewer was thankful for.


Please note that Astro was NOT in the bottom two, as widely predicted after he alienated much of America with his onstage tantrum last week. (Astro may rap that "15 is the new 25," but last week, he acted like a 5-year-old.) I had assumed that Astro had not been sufficiently contrite this week to get back in voters' good graces, since he delivered a half-hearted "apology" that he probably only gave because his mentor L.A.
